Cardi B finds herself back in court on Tuesday in her strip club brawl case.
The “Press” rapper was caught styling for her court appearance, per usual. Cardi was wearing a pink and navy double-breasted pantsuit with a pink and white Birkin bag. Fans and paparazzi greeted Cardi outside of the Queens Supreme Court.
Cardi plead not guilty to two felony charges of attempted assault plus additional misdemeanor charges, according to Page Six.
“Not guilty, sir, honor,” Cardi told Queens Supreme Court Justice Joseph Zayas.
The charges that are being held against Cardi B stem from an August 2018 incident at Angels Strip Club in Queens involving bartender sisters Rachel Wattley and Sarah Wattley aka Jade and Baddie Gi.
According to the two women, they claim that Cardi’s crew threw bottles, chairs, and a hookah because the rapper believed Jade had slept with Offset.
I know Cardi on a personal level, I know Cardi as a wife, as a mother, as a daughter, as a sister,” said Cardi’s attorney Drew Finley. “It’ll ultimately be a positive outcome in favor of Cardi.”
Back in October, Cardi was arrested and booked for her alleged role in the strip club fight.
She rejected the plea deal sometime in April.
During her performance at the BET Experience in L.A. over the weekend, she told fans that she wasn’t worried about possible jail time. “I ain’t going to jail. I got a daughter,” she said.
