Tuesday night featured a pair of crucial game two’s in the second round of the NBA Playoffs. First up in the East was the Milwaukee Bucks vs. the Boston Celtics. And in the second game, the Golden State Warriors hosted the Houston Rockets.
In the early showdown, the Bucks answered for their poor performance in Game 1 by thoroughly dominating the Celtics 123-102. Later on, the Warriors led wire-to-wire in Game 2 to take a 2-0 lead on the Rockets in their second-round match up. Early on, both Steph Curry (finger) and James Harden (eye) suffered injuries and had to go to the locker room, but each star was able to return. Though the Warriors never trailed, it wasn’t a blowout, as the Rockets battled to keep it close the entire way, and even cut the deficit to three points in the fourth quarter. But they couldn’t get closer than that, and will have to find a response in Houston in Game three.
