R.Kelly’s pre-trial time spent behind prison bars Finally comes to an end as he was finally released on a $100,000 bond from the Cook County Jail.
According to recent reports, The R&B singer plead not guilty to every single count of his 10 aggravated sexual abuse charges, but he was still unable to post his $ 1 Million bail.
It was reported that some of his fans came together to create a GoFundMe account for the singer in order to raise the money for his bail.
Fans have created the fundraisers in the name of the alleged sexual predator’s price of (temporary, at least) freedom.
Although this idea was very helpful, black Twitter was not having it.
According to one tweeter from the Cook County Criminal Courts Building, female fans have been calling off the hook to find solutions to Kelly’s bond situation:
A court clerk just told me their office was receiving calls from female #RKelly fans wanting to know how to post bail for him. The love is real, I guess.

Look at all the @gofundme pages that have been created to help @rkelly raise the $100,000 bail money he needs to get out of jail. However, none of these pages have raised any money @WGNNews pic.twitter.com/K7rgXCuY01

Allegedly, a group of women are going to create a R. Kelly GoFundMe to raise funds to bail him out of jail. If or when it goes public, I’ll send y’all the link so we can report it as fraud!#KeepKellzInJail pic.twitter.com/bZKnVDo3T3
