R&B legend, Alicia Keys, took us on a musical journey last night while hosting the 2019 Grammy’s.

According to CNN, Keys was the first female host of the show in 14 years.
She did a phenomenal job by tackling the job with her signature super-chill attitude that brought a calming energy.
She also brought a certain class and cool to music’s biggest night.

Alicia Keys also took the stage to perform a melody of different songs that have inspired the culture of music as a whole.
Keys tackled legendary songs like “Killing me softly,” by Lauren Hill to more current music like “Boo’d up,” by Ella Mai.
She ended the melody by singing her own original song, “New York State of Mind.”
