On Monday, in NE Atlanta, a man was arrested.
The arrest followed a connection with a Northeast Atlanta homicide that occurred six months ago.
According to AJC, Elkenno Williams, 34, of Atlanta, faces a murder charge in the homicide case of 45-year-old Xavier Thicklin, who was found dead along railroad tracks in the 1300 block of Plasters Avenue on April 9, Atlanta police said in a news release.

Thicklin had been shot at least once, police said. He was last seen entering a car at a Chevron gas station in the 2100 block of Monroe Drive, which is about two minutes from where his body was found by railroad employees.
Williams is currently in the Fulton County Jail without bond, according to jail records.
